Horrible Year for Sony

The year hasn't even ended yet and it seems that the clouds are darkening for Sony (although it's far from the company's demise). Their exploding batteries has caused much alarm that Dell and Apple Laptops are banned from Korean airports since they use Sony's batteries. That and the long string of cases, such as the massive battery recalls.

Then there's the announcement that PS3 shipments will either be delayed (if you're not in the US or Japan), or in short supply. There goes the cash cow. And it's not like Sony's been innocent in the past few months. Late last year, there was the spyware issue as users unwittingly installed spyware programs whenever they inserted their Sony CDs into their computer.
