I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's a reason why it's a beta.
If you have a blogger account and want to comment, well, the trick is don't sign up. Blogger Beta hasn't worked out the bugs yet. Instead, do the following:
1) Click "Comment"
2) Under "Choose an Identity", select "Other"
3) Fill in the fields and your comment (don't forget the Word Verification)
4) Click "Publish Your Comment"

Shocking Blogger Developments
I don't know how, but so far my tracker tells me there have been at least fifty people who've passed by this blog (aside from me constantly reloading the page, there seems to be an influx of random visitors from all over the world). On average, my blog these days just gets around a dozen hits, unless I suddenly post something Neil Gaiman-related. But then again, it's also not every day that I actually get to post seventeen entries in one day (most people don't even post that much in a week).
As for your anecdote for the day, one of my officemates caught me looking at my old blog. His reaction? "Nakakatakot naman ng blog mo, Stalking Manila." ("You're blog's scary, Stalking Manila.)
Alas, the people who know me as a Stalker have made their way to Burn Magazine.

Shuffle?
I'm not fond of the "shuffle" function, usually seen on CD players and mp3 players. A neat function of Blogger Beta is the ability to "shuffle" the colors of your layout. It'll probably interest the graphic designers and artists out there.

It's A Beta After All
Well, I'm already seeing error messages. All's not perfect, but it does the job well enough. Blogger Beta tickles the inner techie in me (a facet I've ignored for what, the past decade?).
Walking Contradiction
Okay, so I'm fiddling with the other features. Managed to fix my tracker. Apparently, adding stuff in general (and re-arranging them) is simpler and more intuitive. At least for non-programmers. Re-arranging "elements" (your link list for example) is as simple as drag-and-drop. Of course I expect that it's only functional in the latest web browsers...
Just revamped my original blog and adding in links was tedious. Hopefully with this format, it's easier.

OK So Far
Well, everything seems to be in working order. Except for my tracker. The location varies depending on which browser I'm using. But that's okay. Aside from that, well, the features seem cool. Although I won't be using some in the next few days.
Stalking Blogger
Well, I couldn't resist, so I signed up for Blogger's beta (hmmm, livejournal's having an overhaul too).
Anyway, the process was interesting to say the least. For example, when typing in my password, blogger had this device which measured the password's effectivity, whether it would be too easy to reproduce, or "fair".
What's improved however is when looking up for a url name, blogger lets you scan the network and tells you if the desired url is available or not. It even makes recommendations on alternate urls.
