Well, I couldn't resist, so I signed up for Blogger's beta (hmmm, livejournal's having an overhaul too).
Anyway, the process was interesting to say the least. For example, when typing in my password, blogger had this device which measured the password's effectivity, whether it would be too easy to reproduce, or "fair".
What's improved however is when looking up for a url name, blogger lets you scan the network and tells you if the desired url is available or not. It even makes recommendations on alternate urls.
