An Event Exclusively for POWERCARD holders.April 25 to May 5, 2008
Mechanics:
- The sale is open to all current Powercard and Powercard Plus loyalty card members.
- Bring your POWERCARD or POWERCARD PLUS to have access to the cordoned off V.I.P. Sale area.
- Selected books will be included in the sale. Discounts will be as follows: 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70% and 80%.
- Discounts can be identified by the customers through selected titles that have a "THIS COPY ONLY" sticker that indicates the discounted price of 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70% and 80%.
- The "THIS COPY ONLY" sticker will be placed near the price tag of the book, identifying the discount.
- Posters will be placed in the store so that customers will be aware of the discount scheme.
- Participating branches are Powerbooks Greenbelt, Powerbooks Megamall, Powerbooks Trinoma & Powerbooks Alabang.

How elitist! Although I guess the point in having something like a Powercard is so its holders would have extra perks like these. And it's not that hard to get a powercard anyway. Still, these kinds of discount schemes seems a bit discriminatory to me somehow.
