October 5, 2009 Links and Plugs

Happy mooncake festival!

In terms of self-promotion, The World SF News Blog has migrated to Wordpress (update your bookmarks and feeds!). They're also available on Twitter.

In local news, Dean Francis Alfar and Joseph Nacino just released a virtual anthology of Philippine secondary-world fiction: The Farthest Shore.

Paper Tigers is also focusing on Philippine children's literature this month.

And if you happen to be in CA, Megan Kurashige is holding a book club at Kepler's bookstore on October 13, 2009 featuring Coraline.

Nothing will save your sanity:

Thanks for the shout-out about PaperTigers, Charles. And for the link to the great virtual anthology!
