The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror was one of the anthologies that I eagerly waited for every year, especially since back in the day, not a lot of anthologies made it to our shores.

Karen Joy Fowler's story "The Last Worders" was a clear stand-out this year. Damn near perfect story, and I'm glad I'll get to see it in a form more permanent than the easily-lost/hard-to-re-buy 'Zine format!
