It's Sunday morning and if the rumors/press-releases are to be believed, it should be crime-free for the next few hours as every Filipino is glued to their TV sets watching the upcoming Manny Pacquiao boxing match.

Anyway, once every year, I guest star in
Anansi Girl's show to do a podcast. For this year, we interviewed
Budjette Tan and
Kajo, the writer and artist pair behind
Trese. |

What I really dig about the local comics community is that everyone shows up to support their fellow artists. Didn't realize that yesterday was when Jay Anacleto (
Marvels: Eyes of the Camera) was supposed to be dropping by and doing a public signing at
Comic Odyssey but there you go.

Everyone was there, from
Gerry Alanguilan (
Elmer), Leinil Francis Yu (
Secret Invasion,
New Avengers),
Marco Dimaano (
Angel Ace, Ninja Girl KO!), and lots and lots of other artists.
Fully Booked's in-house print magazine is also available for
download. It features an interview with Alan Moore as well as a profile on writer
Yvette Tan.
