  1. Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny - Easily one of the best sci-fi novels out there.
  2. Interworld by Neil Gaiman and Michael Reaves - An interesting young adult story that combines two of my favorite genres.
  3. Fantasy: Best of the Year 2007 edited by Rich Horton - Loved it!
  4. Science Fiction: Best of the Year 2007 edited by Rich Horton - See above.
  5. The Kite of Stars and Other Stories by Dean Alfar - An excellent collection of speculative fiction stories.
  6. Stories of Your Life and Others by Ted Chiang - Modern sci-fi at its best.
  7. Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay - Easily one of the best fantasy novels of all time.
  8. The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror 2007 Edited by Kelly Link, Gavin Grant and Ellen Datlow - A must-have for any serious fantasy and horror reader.
  9. Philippine Speculative Fiction Vol 3 by Dean and Nikki Alfar - My most anticipated publication even disregarding the fact that I'm in it.
  10. Last Dragon by J.M. McDermott - I hoped that it would be a great read and it didn't disappoint.
